Harbor & Coastal Engineering

Harbor & Coastal Engineering

We design diverse marine structures by integrating maritime environmental conditions with advanced structural analysis. Breakwaters and revetments are planned in gravity, sloped or caisson–concrete block forms tailored to each site, and structural safety is verified through wave-transformation, hydrodynamic and seismic analyses. Offshore and onshore structures are designed on comprehensive wave–current interaction analysis, with a focus on long-term durability and total structural stability.

Geotechnical Engineering

Geotechnical Engineering

We design optimized foundation systems through precise geotechnical investigations and comprehensive load analysis, covering complex environments such as underground structures, soft ground and waterfront sites. Our services run from geotechnical characterization and foundation design to ground improvement, and we specialize in scour protection, submerged pile foundations with bearing-capacity simulation, and caisson foundations that keep the seabed stable.

Structural Engineering

Structural Engineering

We design core infrastructure for ports, coastal facilities, land developments and underground structures, with particular strength in port and marine structural engineering. Precise methods designed for harsh oceanographic conditions, wave loading, tidal variation, seismic effects and chloride deterioration deliver infrastructure that balances safety, durability, constructability and economy.

Site Development

Site Development

We lay the foundation for urban environments through master planning and site preparation, maximizing land-use efficiency and the quality of the spatial experience. Earthwork optimization based on terrain analysis secures economic viability, and eco-friendly smart infrastructure ensures legal compliance and lasting value.

Shiplift System

A shiplift is critical infrastructure for the safe and efficient transfer of large vessels to land. As an advanced vessel-handling system, it lifts ships from the water and relocates them to land-based berths, forming the backbone of modern shipbuilding and MRO facilities.

By lifting vessels vertically on a dedicated platform and transferring them to designated work areas on rails, the shiplift replaces or complements traditional dry docks with far greater operational flexibility and efficiency.

Beyond the limits of single-berth repair, it enables a high-density maintenance system in which multiple vessels are handled at the same time, maximizing capacity even on constrained shorelines. It adapts to naval vessels, government ships and commercial vessels alike, making it the optimal solution for dual-use (civil–military) ship repair facilities. It has become an essential facility for modern naval and commercial shipyards.

Shiplift System

Why a shiplift

High-capacity throughput

One lifting system handles multiple vessels in sequence, significantly increasing annual maintenance capacity and operational turnover.

Optimized site use

Superior space efficiency compared with dry docks, allowing multiple maintenance slots even within constrained coastal sites.

Scalable operations

Adapts to various vessel sizes and types, with seamless provisions for future expansion of transfer rails and work areas.

Lifecycle cost

Lower capital expenditure (CAPEX) and long-term maintenance costs than large dry docks, maximizing overall project profitability.

Safety & quality

A stable lifting process and land-based workstations improve safety and guarantee quality at every servicing stage.

Architecture

Architecture Division

Designing spaces for a sustainable future.

We design sustainable architecture that connects cities, technology and people, creating resilient spaces where the urban environment, human life and technology coexist in harmony. Beyond simple spatial creation, we realize intrinsic architectural value by considering urban context and user experience.

We provide full-scope architectural design and integrated management, from the initial feasibility study to schematic design (SD), design development (DD), construction documents (CD) and construction administration (CA).

With an optimized design strategy for each project and rigorous regulatory review, we integrate structure, MEP, landscaping and interiors into one system. Our BIM-based collaboration enhances design precision while ensuring constructability and cost-efficiency, strengthening urban competitiveness through high-quality spatial design.

Construction Management

CM Division

Superior quality through integrated CM.

TMG's Construction Management Division provides integrated construction management across the entire lifecycle of large-scale building and infrastructure projects, from planning and design to construction and operations & maintenance.

Based on QCS management, which systematically controls quality, cost and schedule in every phase, we minimize project risk and reliably achieve target outcomes. From technical reviews in design to control during construction and post-completion operation, we establish management strategies that accurately realize the client's objectives.

Extensive practical experience and professional expertise raise overall project quality and deliver dependable, high-value results.
